Melissa Tonn, DCE is our Director of Family Ministry. She was called to serve at Immanuel in April of 2008 after finishing the Director of Christian Education certification through Concordia-St. Paul. A native of Michigan, Melissa has moved west to serve the families and communities of Wisconsin Rapids through the ministries of Immanuel Lutheran Church. Melissa and the Family Ministry Team went through a three year training process with Family Friendly Partners Network. Over the past four year, she has worked with the team and the congregation to establish our family ministry stucture. Family ministry strives to help families teach the faith in the home and pass it on to their children and loved ones. We believe the home is the faith center, the place where the Christian faith is best taught and learned, and that we as a church can be a resource to families.
