Pastor Clayton ~ July

On July 18, 23 youth and 4 adults from Immanuel will be heading to New Orleans for the 2025 LCMS Youth Gathering! Due to all of your support, as well as the work the youth and their families have put in, the trip is fully funded. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your generosity and care for this group, which allows them this great opportunity to grow in their faith!

On the front cover of this newsletter is a picture of all those at our last meeting. While it doesn’t include everyone that is going to New Orleans, I hope it gives you an image of those you are supporting. Below is another picture, including the parents of many of our youth. While most will be staying here in Rapids, they too are affected by and thankful for your support.

When we return in July, there is going to be a time for the entire congregation to come hear about the group’s experience. From 9:30-10:15 AM on Sunday, July 27, the group will share about the trip for any who would like to join us. Everyone is welcome to come to the Mission Center that morning between the church services to see pictures, hear stories, and ask questions about the Youth Gathering. We hope you will join us so that we can share about our time and the ways we’ve experienced the love of Jesus.
