Frequently Asked Questions

We know visiting a new place can be scary, but we're here to help!

Where are you located?

We worship in our sanctuary located at 160 8th Avenue North in Wisconsin Rapids. This is also where we meet for our Sunday Christian Growth time.

Our church office and school is located at 111 11th Street North.

What times are worship services?

We have worship services every Sunday at 8 am and 10:30 am, as well as every Monday at 6 pm. Each of our Sunday services is streamed live.

What are services like?

Our 8 am service on Sunday and 6 pm service on Monday use traditional Lutheran settings that feature liturgy, Scripture readings, and hymns. The 10:30 am service is more modern, using creative liturgies and upbeat songs led by our praise team. Holy Communion is served at all of our weekly worship services.

All Sunday services are livestreamed to our Facebook page.

What do you offer for my children?

At Immanuel we believe worship is for the whole family. Children are members of our church family in the fullest sense, and we value their presences in our worship services. When you visit, you will see that we welcome children to sit with their families during the service, and we don’t mind at all if they make noise or struggle to sit still!

Children’s Message
Each week children of all ages will be invited forward during service for a special children’s message. Parents are welcome to come, too, to help their little ones feel comfortable.

Busy Bags & Worship Notes
We have bags with coloring sheets, crayons, and other activities for young children to use during service. We also have worship notes for different grades levels to help teach older students to observe what’s going on during worship.
