Winter EPH4:  Ephesians 4 verses 11-13 states that “he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith.” Immanuel wants to equip, enrich, encourage, and engage you and your fellow saints each Wednesday night through our Eph4 ministry.
New to Immanuel or new to Eph4? Great! We would love to have you join us for this five-week session. Starting January 7, we meet Wednesday evenings in our school building for this weekly night of fellowship and faith enrichment for the whole family. Doors to our school building open at 5pm for dinner. Classes begin at 5:45pm, with the evening concluding at 7pm.
Please follow the link below to get more information about this session’s class options. Register today!

See us at the Red Wall for more information.

Sunday Reset:  High School Youth: Pastor Bryce has announced a new time for you together this winter – The Sunday Reset. It is a time for high schoolers to come together before a busy week and reset. You will have some time to relax, some time to worship, and some time for activities together. Those activities will change from week to week, and will include things like playing board games, a Bible study, or watching and discussing a movie together.
This activity will kick off on Sunday, January 11 from 6:30-8:30pm and will happen every two weeks. See your emails from Pastor Bryce for details.
Charitable Giving:  This week Immanuel will support 10 charities through the offerings you gave on Easter Sunday, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. The following will (of have) receive(d) a payment of $1,000:

A Night of Hope
Where God, Art, and Mental Health Meet

Join therapist and author Heidi Geohmann, author and poet Tanner Olson, and songwriter Blake Flattley for an evening of hope, music, poetry, conversation, and tools for meeting our mental health with hope.
Through teaching, art, music, and storytelling, Heidi, Tanner, and Blake offer ways to navigate the heaviness of life and invite others to hold fast to hope. This event connects you – the Church – to resources that help you breach stigma, rest in God, and build strength to love yourself and those around you no matter the challenge.

Date: Wednesday, January 21
Dinner: 5 – 5:45pm in the Mission Center
Program: 6 – 7:30pm in the Sanctuary

“A Night of Hope is an excellent combination of music, poetry, and sharing hope. Blake, Tanner, and Heidi are genuine in their sharing. They share a message of real life. Hope in the middle of the messes. Our audience of youth and adults was engaged the entire time. We thought and felt deeply, and laughed out loud. A great combination!” – Donna Moldenhauer, Christian Education Coordinator, Trinity, Auburn

“We were incredibly blessed to host have a Night of Hope at our church. They presented the absolute hope we have in our faithful God with humor, with wisdom, and with grace. And don’t we all need a little more grace in this road of life we travel? Giving people permission to say ‘Life is messy. It’s a challenge for me. But God’s grace covers me and shame does not,’ was a message we can never hear too often. We highly recommend the gift of these three individuals to every church that is looking to share true hope through A Night of Hope with their community!” – Brenda Sievert Event Coordinator St. Lorenz Lutheran Church, Frankenmuth, MI
