Happy New Year!
“You crown the year with your bounty;
your wagon tracks overflow with abundance.“
Psalm 65:11 ESV
What a year! 2025 flew right on by. It seems and now as we begin 2026 it is good for us to reflect upon the blessings we have received from our heavenly Father this past year. It was just under a year ago that we moved into our new worship space. We have welcomed many new members into our congregation over this past year, while also saying goodbye to some beloved members who have entered into the Church triumphant awaiting the final victory that is to come. We thank God for His faithfulness to not only grow his Church but to sustain His people in the faith to the very end.
Over this past year, so much has taken place as we have grown accustomed to our new worship home and home for Immanuel’s ministries. So much has been done both on the inside and outside to provide beauty and function to our property. Many hands have been at work to complete a countless number of projects. New ministries have been started; others adapted to work and function in this space. The list continues to grow of how many ways God blessed us abundantly.
The Psalmist writes, “You crown the year with your bounty; your wagon tracks overflow with abundance.” We are reminded in the psalm of the abundant blessings that come from the hand of our Lord, so much so that his “wagon tracks” are even overflowing. God is with us here at Immanuel and I pray that you all see this as well and will take time to pause, give thanks to God for His many blessings, and provisions and then turn your attention to His guiding as we look ahead to another year -both being blessed by Him and having the opportunity and honor of serving Him in His Kingdom. May God bless you all in this New Year. Amen.
