Home Devotions
Your home devotion time is working great, right? It is connecting you and/or your family with each other and with God through His Word? For some of you, it is. God be praised! For most of us, we could use a little encouragement and guidance to get started.
In your February Newsletter, Nic Cass talked about a new emphasis on home devotions for Immanuel. Your ministry team recently attended a “Family Discipleship” focused workshop that solidified some ideas to help Immanuel meet your Discipleship Pathways Critical Target. Nic will now focus us on this emphasis of home devotion time.
Whether you are empty nesters, have lots of littles in the home, or live by yourself, home devotion time is a vital part of your daily faith development. It is also a practice that can easily fall by the wayside when life seems too busy (your ministry staff included).
As we approach Lent, let’s focus on this together! We have some age-appropriate devotion resources for the Lent season. We will distribute those devotions to you at our Home Devotion Workshop show to the right. Let’s use this as a first opportunity to get practical tips on bringing God’s Word into our routine at home!
Home Devotion Workshop
EVERYONE is invited to join us Sunday, February 22 in the sanctuary from 9:30 to 10:00am. During this time, we will distribute some resources, walk through what your devotion time might look like, and answer any questions. We will see you there!

Valentine Bake Sale
Some of you saw our Facebook post on Friday showing the Evening Guild ladies hard at work decorating cookies for their Valentine bake sale today (Sunday). Your wait is over! Stop by their tables in the Gathering Space before and after services to purchase your goodies. Cookies are $7.00 a dozen, and the other baked goods are marked with individual prices.
Through their work using raffle baskets, bake sales, and more, the Evening Guild financially supports many missions and ministries throughout the community and beyond. Thank you, ladies, for the work you do!
Final Winter Eph4
Our final Eph4 session of the winter will take place at our school this Wednesday, February 11. Join us at 5pm for hot dogs, brats, and friends!
Ash Wednesday
The following Wednesday, February 18, is Ash Wednesday. The students at Immanuel Lutheran School will take a bus to the church building for their Ash Wednesday School Chapel Service at 9:00am. Parents and congregation members are welcome to join them for chapel that morning in the Sanctuary.
In the evening, we will offer our first Lenten Meal of the season. Doors to the Mission Center open at 4:30pm, with dinner being served each week from 5:00 to 5:45pm. Our Ash Wednesday Worship Service will follow at 6:00pm in the Sanctuary.
Whether you have taken part in many Lent services or have yet to attend, come join us for food, friendship, and the Word each Wednesday starting February 18.
Friendship Register
Each week during the offering at Immanuel we pass our Friendship Register down each row. Its a great way for you to let us know you worshipped with us. If you are new to Immanuel, this is one place you can share your preferred contact information with us so that we can stay connected with you. We also have our Church Center app to keep you connected. Haven’t downloaded the app yet? Use the link below!
You may notice a new look to the registers. We purchased a new brand of register pads, and hope they will be a great fit going forward.

Reminder: By now, you should have received your 2025 donation statement from Immanuel Lutheran Church and School. We delivered the statements via email for the majority of our members. For the smaller group that doesn’t use email, we mailed a copy of your statement.
If for some reason you did not receive your statement, please see us at the Red Wall before or after worship. You may also reply to this email or call the church office at 715-423-3260. Please check your statement for accuracy, and let us know if any donation was mislabeled.

First Choice Pregnancy
Immanuel is taking part in Project Life Change to financially support the work of the First Choice Pregnancy Resource Center here in Wisconsin Rapids. To support their work, stop by the entryway this Sunday and pick up a baby bottle. Fill it up with loose change, dollar bills, or even a check payable to First Choice Pregnancy Resource Center. Prefer to give online? You can do that directly by following the link below.
Return your filled baby bottles at the Red Wall after worship, or bring them into the office throughout the week. Baby Bottles are due back by Monday, February 16.
