Principal Paul Gnan of the new Central Wisconsin Lutheran High School will be joining us this weekend to introduce himself to Immanuel. Take a moment to welcome him before or after worship!
Between services, our Feed the People team will provide us with muffins and drinks over in the Mission Center. There, Principal Gnan will share the school’s story, introduce himself, and answer questions.
If you cannot make the event but would like more information, connect with the school through their website at cwlhs.com.

STEAM Exploration Night ~Immanuel family, mark your calendars and get ready for a night of fun and exploration! Join us at our school building on Thursday, March 12 from 6pm to 7:30pm for Immanuel Lutheran School’s STEAM Exploration Night.
See the science fair projects from each K-8 classroom. View the great student art projects. Stop by the book fair. Connect with students and families from our school!
We look forward to seeing you there!

Sneak Peak: In two weeks, we are going to revisit a tradition. On Sunday, March 15, we will have paper grocery bags available after worship for you to take home and collect items for the FOCUS Food Pantry. Each bag will have a “most needed” supply list attached with suggested items. On Palm Sunday two weeks later, we can bring back the filled bags and place them into the FOCUS delivery truck. This will help restock the shelves of the food pantry for Easter. Thank you to Georgie Coffey for leading this event.

Dennis Hall’s mom, Lucille Hall, will turn 100 years old on March 16. We would love to brighten her day with 100 birthday cards! Take part by bringing a birthday card with you to the church building and drop it in the card box by the Red Wall.
You are also welcome to mail her a birthday card to:
Lucille Hall
4331 Finup Ln
Wisc. Rapids, WI 54495

Puzzle lovers: Fellow Immanuel friends have set up a table in the Gathering Space that will have puzzles for you to take or give.
88.5 ~ Our friends at 88.5 The Family are holding their 34th Annual Hygiene Drive! The drive lasts through Sunday, March 15. Bring your donations to our church (the Red Wall) or school (the office) to participate. Items donated locally stay within the community.

The Living Cross decoration returns to Immanuel this Easter. You have two options for this decorating event. You may purchase a lily, kalanchoe, or mum plant for the decoration. After the final Easter service, you will be able to take that plant home with you. All flowers are $15.00.
If you would like to make a monetary donation to offset the additional flowers we use for the Living Cross, you can put your contribution in a envelope, indicate “Living Cross donation” on it, and put it in the offering plate or drop by the office. Please indicate if this contribution is in memory of or honor of someone in your life.
Thank you for helping to beautify our Sanctuary this Easter season!

Building Tidbits ~ For this week’s Building Tidbits, we have an interesting item and a request. If you have stopped by the Red Wall, you may have noticed a mail slot in the wall between the Red Wall countertop and the office hallway door. That mail slot leads to a locked drop box. If you have a donation, contribution, or payment for an item, you are welcome to place it in the mail slot where it will be securely kept until deposited by our weekly counters.
This week’s request: we could use your help to minimize the weekly cleaning needed in the Sanctuary. We ask that you don’t bring food into the Sanctuary – especially Jello, frosted items, or sprinkles. These types of foods are difficult to clean out of the fabric on the pew chairs. An obvious exception to this request are age-appropriate snacks for toddlers as needed. Likewise, please ensure that any beverage taken into the Sanctuary has a lid to minimize spills and cleanup. We hope you continue to enjoy the great food and beverages provided by our dedicated volunteers in the Gathering Space.
