It is that time of year once again where our preparations for Vacation Bible School begin. Last summer, our new building provided us with some great opportunities to shift our timing to the morning and expand what we do. It was a great success and some thing I look forward to building on this year. With that in mind, there are already some ways our congregation can help as we prepare for VBS.
Pray For Us
Pray that God would lift up leaders and volunteers to make VBS a success. Pray that God would bring kids to experience his love and hear his word. Pray that all our needs would be provided for to put on a fun and exciting program.
Volunteer
Have you ever wanted to help out with VBS? Now is your chance! Help will be needed working with the kids but also behind the scenes: decorating, prepping snacks, or taking pictures. If you are interested in helping, reach our to Nic Cass at ncass@immanuelrapids.com.
Promote
Everyone can help by getting the word out to family friends and neighbors. There will soon be flyers you can take by the Red Wall to to give out to the people in your lives. This is a great opportunity to reach out and invite others to something exciting at Immanuel.
