Summer is a time when backyards can come to life with the joys of summer. Listening to the birds sing, having orchestrated conversations with friends and families, and the shouts of encouragement to run faster when watching your kids play summer sports.
Psalms 98:4 Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth; break forth into joyous song and sing praises!
Our world is filled with joyful noises when we give thanks and praise to God. There is much to celebrate as the school prepares for the 2025-2026 school year. The theme “Make a Joyful Noise” will remind us to focus on how to use the many instruments of God’s people to create harmony from the diverse parts.
This year, the school is fortunate to call three exceptional teachers: Jennifer Creely, Naomi Vogt, and Caleb Betts. The new teachers will find their place in the staff, and together we will strive to reach harmony as a church and school staff. Please mark your calendars to welcome these new staff members and offer encouragement by making some noise on August 24.
Parents, students, congregational members, and staff working together as God’s people, working
toward a common goal of Sharing the Love of Jesus, Growing in Faith, and Serving the Community, will make a joyful noise. I know that at times I may be off pitch, but there is always another member who can help me get back in tune. Praise be to God for the many blessings of a school ministry as we make a Joyful noise to the Lord.
