Favorite Bible Verse:

“I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With Him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.” Psalm 16:8

I grew up in a suburb of Chicago, however my family and I have lived in central Wisconsin for many years.  Working with children is a lifelong calling for me.   I graduated with a BA in elementary education from Trinity International University.  It has been a joy working at Immanuel since 2011.  I have served in various roles over the years as a teacher assistant, substitute teacher, and 4K teacher.  This year I am excited to work with the younger grades in special education.  I look forward to continuing helping children grow and be all that God made them to be.

Our school’s theme this year is “Endure” (Hebrews 12:1-3). Briefly share a time in your life when you felt you needed the endurance that only God can provide. How can you use your experience to share God’s love with the students and families in our school?

Losing my job and income temporarily during the pandemic was challenging. I leaned on God, and it was so amazing to see how he provided and showed himself faithful to my family and me. It is always comforting to know that He never changes. He is faithful always, and that helps me to endure all things. I hope that I can encourage students that they can trust God no matter what.

What is one thing you look forward to doing when you retire?

I’m not sure if I will ever fully retire. However, I do look forward to spending more time with my family.
